Abadeze is a Guyanese Creole word for ‘we’ or ‘us’. For me, it has become a signifier (the ‘physical’ form) of plurality. The mental concept or idea - the signified - is not fixed, just like us. Abadeze is an idea or concept that constantly changes and evolves with the pluriverse (Escobar, 2018). Everything is connected to everything else, and as a mixed-race migrant, my identity - the ways in which I make meaning - are forever plural.  This is my living portfolio: my thoughts in ‘physical’ form.
